Terms

Show Terms

Para. 1: The show is recognized within the VDH (Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen, Association for German Dogs) by the Boxer-Klub e.V. (BK, German Boxer Club) based in Munich. Participation allowed only with Boxers listed in the approved pedigree register. Sick Boxers, or even suspiciously sick Boxers, or verminous Boxers, or Boxers with testicular defects (uni- & bilateral cryptorchids) shall be rejected - only the veterinarian, responsible for the show, is entitled to make the respective decision. All dogs will be vetted at the entry; however, any exhibitor is liable for the consequences arising out of bringing in sick dogs.

Para. 2: The submission of the registration commits to paying the fees and accepting these Terms. There is no possibility to withdraw submitted registrations. The show leading team is entitled to reject registrations without stating the reason. Place of execution and payment is the place of the show.

Para. 3: At the time of registration the Boxer must be owned by the exhibitor and registered as recorded in the pedigree register. Anyone making consciously false or misleading statements, or making modifications to his dog or any other manipulation to be suitable for deception of the referee leads to a loss of the award and to the exclusion from further shows. The same applies for insulting the referee or publicly criticizing his value judgment. The value judgment of the referee is incontestable. Formal mistakes must be submitted to the show leading team in order to take charge of it. Anybody who infringes upon these Terms may be excluded from all further shows.

Para. 4: The exhibitor shall purchase a catalogue available on the day of the show. Exhibitors, who did not pick up the catalogue at the entry, shall not expect subsequent delivery.

Para. 5: The Boxers have to be shown personally at the scheduled time. There is free admission for one person for each registered Boxer. Snappy Boxers shall be marked suchlike on the registration form and muzzled during the show. The Boxer owners are responsible for any damage caused by their Boxers acc. to the BGB (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, Civil Code).

Para. 6: The pedigrees of the Boxers shall be brought along and submitted on request, as well as the working certificates of the working dogs.

Para. 7: Bringing in not registered or rejected Boxers is not allowed.

Para. 8: Exhibited Boxers must not be removed from the show area before the show comes to an end. Anybody, who arbitrarily removes Boxers shall lose the awards and shall be excluded from further shows.

Para. 9: The exhibitors themselves are responsible to show their Boxers in due time.

Para. 10: The show leading team is responsible as organizer for any damage, but in case of damages caused by dogs the dog owners’ liability insurance shall step into.

Para. 11: The show leading team maintains order; therefore, it is vital to follow their orders.

Para. 12: In the event the show cannot take place or cannot be postponed because of force majeure, the show leading team is authorized to retain part of the paid fees in order to cover accrued expenses.

Please note ! (effective 1 May 2002): Presentation of cropped Boxers (ears beyond 1 January 1987 and tails beyond 1 June 1998) is not allowed. Please submit the certified medical assessment to apply for an exception.
